Fees for Associate Members are based on previous year's operation budget. Operation budget includes all revenue except for capital funds used to purchase lands or conservation agreements.

Associate - Operating Expenses $1 - $10,000
Membership Description
Associate Member – an Associate Member is a not for profit corporation which may have charitable status which as all or part of its mission, actively works to conserve land by undertaking or assisting in land acquisition or conservation agreements, or by engaging in stewardship of such land or conservation agreements. Provincial land trust alliances meeting the requirements of associate membership will be considered associate members by virtue of their role assisting others in land conservation. As a condition of membership all associate members must provide written confirmation of the organization’s acceptance/adoption of the 2005 Canadian Land Trust Standards and Practices as the ethical and technical guidelines for the responsible operation of a land trust and their organization commits to making continual progress toward the implementation of these standards and practices. This should be in the form of a Board resolution or motion or in the case of a large organization written confirmation from senior management staff.
Fees are based on previous year’s operating expenses. Operating expenses include all revenue except for capital funds used to purchase lands or conservation agreements.
